This journal is currently 75% open to everyone and 25% friends locked. I hardly ever share stuff (not because I don't want to, but because everyone else does before I do) and I don't really make graphics, so this is more like a mix of my random fangirling and RL facts. Feel free to add me, but I won't add you back if I don't know who you are and you haven't commented here and/or talked to me before. All posts in which I share stuff will remain public, so there's no reason for you to friend me if you're only interested in that (lol as if I was always scanning stuff). But I love meeting new people and I don't bite (at least not often), so ♥.

Real life has been hectic lately so I haven't been posting much, but I'm checking my f-list daily! It's been 3 years since I've created this account and I don't think of leaving LJ soon, even though it bitches at me constantly XD. I always say I'll comment, reply and post more, but I never do, so please bear with me! XD

Yay I have a new layout!! It was about time, but it took me forever to choose images for the header! Now I need time to work on my profile and do more stuff around here. I've also renewed my paid account so that's another full year of 100+ icons for me! :) Need to change a few and upload new ones!! Apparently I can never get enough of Ohkura icons, hahaha XD

So my past week in topics, because I'm weak like that:

• GIVE ME THE LAST TWO EPISODES OF ROOFTOP PRINCE, NOW. This is one of those dramas I simply can't help but squeal while watching, to the point my mother actually comes into my room asking if I'm okay and what the hell is happening, lol.
• Papadoru episode 4, WHY SHOTA WHY. Why couldn't you simply go and talk to Ryo instead of commenting what you heard with Hina and practically stalking your bandmate to figure out what's happening? Ugh but then again who am I to assume he wouldn't behave like that in real life. I guess from now on the members will get to know Ryo's married and they'll probably split in two groups, the ones who support him and the ones who don't. My heart ;__;. Also, I can't stop thinking about how much Ryo must be suffering while filming XD I clearly see him going "HAZUKASHIIIIII~" *buries face in hands* after every other cut. Oh Ryo. *pats*
• I had to cut my nails short because one of them broke. And now I feel like my fingers are 5mm shorter and it's hard to type on my cellphone. I haven't even painted them this week, where has my feminility gone to?? Sob.
• I made pancakes on Saturday. First time I made sweet pancakes - they're not usual here, you know - and I made a pile of them on a plate and covered half with honey and half with condensed milk. They were good.
• The Japanese class went by without any major problems (except for the Annoying Girls who keep on being Annoying). There was a mini festival downstairs so we went there to eat gyoza during the break. I got 98.3 on my test!! Messed up on a particle, a kanji and a verb form. Meh.
• I've finished Murakami's "Kafka on the shore" and it was SO GOOD, OMFG. Complete mindfuck, I agree, but CRAP. So many feelings. And I guess I'll be finishing "Norwegian Wood" tomorrow - this one is a bit depressing so it's taking me longer to finish ;__;. I actually got to know it turned into a movie in 2010! And obviously the links are dead but I'm happy I have friends to help me in moments like these (mayezinha! ♥). I wonder which book I should start next.
• Work is killing me with all that furniture to deal with, but that's no news. Next.
• Apparently Nino is blond now. That's because he'll be playing a delinquent at the 24hTV special drama, I think? God. I won't even say anything because I badmouthed Kura when he dyed his hair and now I miss his blond version so much XD. But it will take me a while to get used to it.
• Aaaah Arashi's new DVD!! My copy was shipped yesterday, I'm PRAYING it doesn't take long to get here (as I mentioned before, things are taking up to FOUR MONTHS to reach now). Can't wait to watch!! >_< I was checking the files I downloaded to see if the videos had joined correctly and I ended up watching their last encore while sobbing like a baby. It always happens when it's Arashi, damn. XD I'm not sure whether I'll watch the full thing before the girls come home... I want to watch the concert with them! :)

On other news: Internet is back but the power cuts are happening almost daily, since it's rainy and cold and power tends to go on and off at random in times like these. Which sucks. And means all I can do is cuddle underneath my blankets and watch dramas (when my laptop happens to have enough batteries).

I've started watching Legal High and so far I'm enjoying it. Too bad almost all dramas this season are getting so repetitive I can't bring myself to feel like "OMG CAN'T WAIT FOR THE NEXT EPISODE !!!11", since it will be yet another closed story with a beginning, development and end. The exception is Rooftop Prince - IT'S REALLY AWESOME OMG GIVE ME THE REST NOW - but it's Korean so yeah XD. It's also the first time I'm actually watching 6-7 series at once and it's not that hard to keep up with them as I thought it would be.

I'm now waiting for PapaDoru subs because I feel like I won't be able to watch each episode twice anymore - even though it has K8 and everything I'm afraid it's not getting to me as much as the first episode did... I mean that Ryo is totally NOT Ryo, haha. But I'm hoping it gets better.

Also, NNNNNGH SAKAMOTO AND AKITO AS GUESTS ON KAGIHEYA EPISODE 6 OMG *FANS SELF* That means we'll have Dark-Haired-Megane!Ohno, Adorable-Cross-Eyed!Akito and Walking-Sex!Sakamoto at the same place and at the same time. HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO DEAL WITH THAT. *FAINTS*

Big Bang apparently confirmed they'll be coming to South America? I do hope they hold a concert here, I'm going for sure!! :D

I finished reading (rather, listening to) Saramago's "Ensaio sobre a cegueira" (I believe the English title for it is "Blindness"?) this morning. I watched the movie years ago and always wanted to read the book, so I finally did. I figured I focus better on work while listening to audiobooks. Also I save time, so go me!! XD It was an awesome book. For those who don't know the story: a guy gets blind out of nowhere; it's a white blindness, though. Said blindness is contagious, they realize, so eventually him, the doctor that treated him and a few other people that started getting blind are thrown inside an asylum where they're supposed to live by themselves. The doctor's wife goes with them even though she can still see - she seems to be immune, but she doesn't tell anyone except her husband - but eventually the asylum gets crowded with blind people and the situation gets unbearable. The book, in a nutshell, talks about how cruel human beings can be, how easily they can turn themselves into animals who don't care about laws and just want to save themselves, and questions "Is it chaotic now, or was it already chaotic before, and the blindness just made it more evident?". I recommend! :)

Ah, the Japanese test was last Saturday. I did pretty well I guess! Even though I didn't remember one of the kanji and I certainly got two particles wrong, which means I won't be able to get more than 97/100 haha. It was easier than I expected though!! And now I'm enjoying a free week with no homework to do! \:D/

Well, back to work I go. I wonder which book I should listen to, now. Bye!

On other news, I currently have no internet at home D: I called them the day before yesterday and they said in 72 hours the problem would be solved. When I arrived home yesterday it was working properly but after dinner and shower it was down again. =__= I hope it comes back again soon!

Oh crap I'm in love with Arashi again! XD ♥ At first I wasn't really into their new song, but after watching the full PV and starting to watch Kagi no Kakatta Heya, I'm in love! I'm so easy when it comes to them, lol. It's not like I'm DYING to watch the next episode, but Ohno is great on the drama! It's at least better than Mikeneko. XD

Also Arashi on Music Station on Friday! I DIED. I loved the old footages they showed (it's always great to see the boys dying from embarrassment XD) and the ranking brought back so many nice memories. It was nice to see that old songs still have a place in the fans' hearts, and at the same time not-so-old songs that are among my favorites made it to the ranking, too. Happiness performance from 2007 that I actually watched as soon as it came out! XD ♥ Aaah and Love so sweet made it to the top. Not their best song but I consider it to be the song that made me become their fan (they ruined my life and I'll thank them forever for that, lol), so I was really happy! XD Seeing them dancing to it again after over five years made me smile ♥. I remember when the Dome DVD was out and we were like "Ooooh we'll see LSS on DVD!!", and it was so strange for us because it was such a new song XD. Awww good times, good times.

I still don't like Jun's new hairstyle (I know he looks pretty but it doesn't fit him at all! D:) and all this Kpopper wannabe bullshit. But then again, it's not like they have much opinion on what kind of song they'll be singing next, so oh well. =__= Face Down ended up being catchy enough and it fits the drama, so it's all good.

The other day I was watching something (don't remember what) and Jun was on the screen. My brother passed by and said "Oh Arashi. These guys were nice". He always makes me feel bad for "abandoning" them, lol. I don't watch their varieties anymore because for me they're not as amusing as they were in the past, not to mention I don't have the time to. I still follow their new songs and releases though! Can't wait for their new DVD - Arashi's concerts are always so much fun to watch and I fangirl like crazy whenever I do it for the first time, lol!! :D If only international packages weren't taking up to FOUR MONTHS to reach because of the new Brazilian post office policy... my brother ordered a DVD from Amazon.uk two months ago and so far nothing. Oh well. =_______=

I also watched Shota's Hanamaru Cafe and GOD, YASU. How can you be so adorable!! *squishes* I was dying because of that new hairstyle of his when I first saw the pictures, but it actually turned out pretty good!! Except for the fact it still feels a bit strange for me - unbalanced? Is that the word? XD Because I kept turning my head aside while watching XD. I'm not used to people who are half bald, it seems there's something missing XD But that's Yasu and that's why we all love him. XD ♥ At least Subaru has shaved. Heeee. *___*

And I want all the 7/11 goods! ;______;

Aside from that, not that many news. We had a review at the Japanese class yesterday and it was actually quite awesome - I don't feel like I need to study that much for the upcoming test now, haha! XD So today I didn't touch the books at all. Just had barbecue with family, played with Tuco, painted my nails and watched dramas. :3 Oh and I was actually a bit productive and organized my Janiben and Bouken Japan collections, listing what's missing so I can hunt them down whenever I have the time (and space - I desperately need to burn DVDs! D:) to download more stuff. :3

Hi everyone. :D

So NEWS IS BACK!! They're releasing a new single, a best album (first disc with all singles and second disc with songs picked by fans! I spent the afternoon listening to their discography and listing my favorites so I can vote, haha XD) and there's also a tour coming up. GIVE ME PRE-ORDER LINKS, CD JAPAN!! XD

I was online during the end of the countdown earlier and it was great because everyone was flailing in twitter. I have several Brazilian people in my TL who are old NEWS' fans, so it was awesome. Even a few boys were freaking out, haha. I was never a big fan of NEWS, but I've been following their steps since early 2007 so I'm happy for them and for their fandom. They've suffered so much already (the fans, I mean) and I guess they deserve this comeback. I hope they succeed as a 4-nin group and I'm wishing them all the best <3.

Kanjani8's new single will be out on June 13th!! A bit late in my opinion (almost two months after the start of the drama) but apparently there are other "strong" releases in all weeks before that and Johnny's always want to get #1 in Oricon, so well. I quite like the song (from what I could hear in the PapaDoru previews) and I can't wait to listen to it at Recomen on Thursday. I'm loving PapaDoru's previews too much, I've already noticed I'll pretty much die while watching this drama. I'm a bit nervous concerning the ratings though (Nakai's drama reached 19% and Ohno's 18%, I'm sure PapaDoru will be lower than that) because it's such an specific plot I don't think people other than fangirls will watch it every week. I'm actually fearing for the Eito Rangers movie as well... but who cares, give me the first episode already and Ryo x Social Awkwardness for me to ship. \8|/

I finished the Issun no Kaze ni Nare drama SP yesterday. My TL told me I should watch Osen because I've obviously not watched enough dramas with Uchi in it, but I decided to start with Isshun because it's shorter and it has Ryo too. 8D It was quite nice. It's a pretty story, basically about a high school boy who makes friends and they all run towards their dream together. Uchi and Ryo are FREAKING BROTHERS and there's also NEWS' Hadashi no Cinderella Boy as theme song. And well, add to that the fact that Uchi had just returned to JE after two and a half years in the fridge and they talked about his suspension at the press conference and it's clear how close Uchi and Ryo are and, MY HEART. ;______; Also, the character fit him perfectly! I totally fell in love with Uchi after watching. ♥♥♥

But then I started Osen yesterday and the story was so boring and the characters are all so annoying I simply don't know what to do XD. I'm giving it another try tonight but sincerely IDK. Maybe it's not my type of drama? At least I'm in love with the opening song, that's something, right? 8D

Regarding Mikeneko and Kagi no Kakatta Heya, THIS SO MUCH. I'm too lazy to download them now, totally not doing it before softsubs start popping up. I'm not sure whether someone will release softs so for now I'm waiting for STORMY.

Aside from that, we changed teachers at the Japanese course again. Both stage 3 classes became one because the semi-intensive course has started and our (awesome) teacher went to teach another class. So now we have 20 students instead of 10 and a (by far) not-so-awesome teacher. I'm kind of disappointed. Not to mention jaekemi decided to drop because she was absent too many times already and she's working on her thesis at university this semester and she can't keep up, so yeah. I feel a bit sad and unmotivated... but I'll keep giving my best! ;_;

And if you guys still remember my stomach, I started taking the evil medicine again, because I'm weak as that~ it feels so much better.

NNNNGH SO NEWS WILL BE BACK WITH A NEW SINGLE AND BEST ALBUM AND AND AND *FIREWORKS* I STILL CAN'T BELIEVE IT OMG GUYS ;_______;. /flails I'm so happy for them and I'm totally buying both if I manage to grab hold of the LEs. They need to sell a lot so they won't go into the limbo again. XD

Yay so today I had the day off because it's Easter on Sunday. We had great food (mom and dad got crazy while browsing the web for recipes and she actually made THREE different dishes with codfish and potatoes!! Yum!!) and I played with Tuco in the yard and everything. It was so much fun!! \:D/ I know it's not everyone that celebrates Easter, but for those who do, Happy Easter!! I actually got an Easter egg from my boss yesterday and I failed to take a picture of it (too late now, it's been eaten already. It was good though! XD).

What else. EITO RANGERS TRAILER, NNNNNGH, I still can't believe it's real (you can see a brief translation of it here). I'm in love with that theme song already and F*CK YEAH, BLACK IN THE CENTER, OMG I'm so happy for them, specially for Yoko, since he's the one who created the Rangers after all. The character descriptions are really nonsense and kind of angsty, but I'm hoping they won't make the plot THAT dark. Anyway, the movie looks awesome and I hope we have a DVD with it before the year is over. I'm so proud of them and of everything they're doing ;_______; *holds back tears*

I'm also drifting away from all other fandoms in the meantime, specially considering no one really posts at LJ anymore and I don't have time / patience to check other sources. Meh. I watched a few episodes of G no Arashi this afternoon and it was soooo good!! XD Felt nostalgic too. And Aiba, why are you such an idiot, I love you. XD I miss Arashi, can't wait for their new DVD (I managed to get a copy of the LE!!). I flail over Arashi like once a year, when a new DVD comes out XD. Their concerts are so much fun to watch!!
